Bigs and Littles meet once a week during school or after school at a community center!
Bigs and Littles meet once a week for one hour at either their school or a community center, creating the perfect opportunity to build a meaningful friendship in a structured and supportive setting. With professional staff support nearby, matches enjoy fun activities like talking, crafting, playing games, and simply hanging out. It’s not about being a tutor—it’s about being a friend.
Littles are paired with either a high school or adult Big, allowing for diverse mentorship experiences that can fit the unique needs of each child. Our site-based program now includes an enriching curriculum covering STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), SEL (social-emotional learning), JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion), and career-connected learning. These activities help Littles explore their interests, build important life skills, and envision a bright future, all while connecting with a positive role model.
Being a Big is about sharing enjoyable experiences with a child in need of mentorship. It doesn’t take a lot of time, money, or special skills—just a willingness to be a friend and a role model. Bigs consistently tell us they "get back more than they give," and having a Big changes a child’s life for the better, forever! Click here to read more about becoming a Big.
Being a Little is about having a role model and someone to spend time with. Our program is free for all participants, and we carefully screen volunteers to ensure safety and set proper expectations. Click here to read more about enrolling a child in the program.
